Fantastic News.
D.I.S.C. - DIRECT-INTERFACE-SHADOW-CONTROL my latest novel, has been acquired by Pegasus Elliott Mackenzie Publshers Ltd. This will be my eleventh novel.
Joseph Lanes is fifteen, skinny and ginger - a prime victim for bully target practice. He's systematically beaten-up every day by the Mackenzie Brothers, and thrown into the mud, like a discarded sweet wrapper. After a particularaly short beating, on this one occasion, he lies on the caking soil and discovers something shining in the dirt... a DISK!
This changes everything!
Readers Comments:
Having read Crank Tech One, Destruction written by the same author ( which is a great read) I always wondered where Crank came from, what's he been up to before he became crank. This is a short prequal which starts to fill in those blanks. As the old saying goes "you can't judge a book by its cover " which must admit I really like the cover of this book. I went through this in about 40 minutes, but what a great 40 minutes it was. It's very well written almost impossible to put down, and it gave me a glimpse in to the other, shall we say talents this Robot has.
Knew this was a short story, and was willing it go beyond where it ended. Colin R Parsons has a talent for leaving you wanting more. And I want to know more about IU-137. Great read for all ages male or female,Well done Mr Parsons. Well done indeed.A Brooks (a fan)
Wizards' Kingdom... 'The Obelisk of Ashmar' Thoroughly enjoyed your new book. Just enough background information and recap of the first story to remind the reader of the original plot or for a new reader to see what has previously transpired. It is a 'Stand alone plot' and reading the first story is not a prerequisite. Every chapter has a strong, individual, original storyline. Excellent descriptive language - poetic, evocative mastery, filled with suspense and adventure. Great titles for every chapter... Very exciting climax. This series is a real winner - Alison Hall teacher at Williamstown Primary School
